Building 23 was one of the original Hartley Institute buildings and in the past has housed among other things Chemistry Labs and a Geological museum. The project was a joint effort by members of the Engineering department and Buildings and Estates at the University of Southampton, and the construction company Gentles Ltd and Robert Hargreaves the architect. The site works commenced in December 2001 completing in July 2002, with building occupants moving in at the start of August 2002. The building has been renumbered and is now considerd to be part of building 25. Click on the thumbnails to view a larger photograph and a description.
